Light of The Youth

Anwaarul Shabaab - Light of The Youth

Vision:
Anwaarul Shabaab (The light of the Youth) has been established to nurture Islamic work that is efficient and forward oriented amongst all segments of Muslim youth based on the comprehensive understanding of Islam.
Such work will result in Muslim youth understanding their purpose of life and will Inshallah be at the forefront in the development of the British Muslim community.

Amongst all segments of Muslim youth
Our focus is on all segments of the Muslim youth population without any discrimination based on nationality and race. To be effective in our work, it is essential that our brothers and sisters understand the importance of their youth and the value of time.

Based on the comprehensive teaching of Islam
The balanced path that our Creator has chosen for us is the ideal. Almighty Allah says in Surah Al Baqarah: “Thus we made you a just and balanced nation, that you may be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger is a witness over you” (2:143)

At the forefront
We hope to educate the youth and train them to become role models of the British Society. Similarly, the youth will be encouraged to utilise their field of expertise by developing new initiatives. The youth is the future of the community.

Mission Statement:
To develop disciplined and committed Muslim youth, through social programs, based on the comprehensive teachings of Islam.

The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said,
“Value five things before five:
(1) Your youth before your old age
(2) Your Good health before illness
(3) Your abundance of wealth before your poverty
(4) Your spare time before your occupied time
(5) The value of your life, before your death

Anwaarul Shabaab shall aim to provide for the youth in the following ways:

1. Organise an annual Summer Conference
2. Organise an annual Easter Conference
3. Monthly Halaqahs (Circle work)
4. Open Q & A with scholars and Jurists.
